Fall 2019 - Art and Social Activism
Racked up some milage this time. One thousand miles to Chicago to participate in The Sculpture Objects Functional Art and Design (SOFA) Fair, then 850 miles to New York City to attend the NYC REEL Recovery Film Festival to show the OSP documentary and exhibit some work at Mountainside Chelsea.
I am excited to get back home to my bed and studio!

Wow, Chicago was terrific. I met some great people and saw some incredible work. Many thanks to my good friend and fellow artist, Gary Traczyk, for inviting me to be a part of SOFA! It was also great to reunite with Kim Novak, pictured below.

REEL Recovery Film Festival, LA
L.A. was great, but this week I will be closer to home in New York City! REEL Recovery showcases filmmakers who create work that discusses addiction, alcoholism, behavioral disorders, treatment, and recovery in engaging ways. My mini-documentary, click here to view, will debut at the festivals.
