The Ice Age: Only the Bible Explains It!

The Ice Age is a major mystery of mainstream Earth science, but not to creationists! Evidence indicates that the Flood caused extreme climate change, resulting in an Ice Age that persisted for perhaps 700 years. There was only one Ice Age, and the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets mostly built up during this time.

Falling Flat: A Refutation of Flat Earth Claims

Amazingly, belief that the earth is flat is rapidly growing, especially among Christians. Does the Bible teach that the earth is flat? Is there scientific evidence for this? Come hear an astronomer answer these questions. And, if the weather cooperates, we hope to have a telescope for viewing outdoors!

Dr. Danny Faulkner holds an MS in Physics from Clemson University and an MA and PhD in Astronomy from Indiana University and taught at the University of South Carolina Lancaster for over 26 years. He serves as editor of the Creation Research Society Quarterly and has published over 100 papers in various journals. He now works as a researcher, author, and speaker for Answers in Genesis..

Normally, MCF's meetings are on the first Monday of the month and the next day -- except around holidays, such as Labor Day. Locations are in Lindenhurst and Carol Stream, Illinois, and we're opening a new third location south of Chicago on October 5, 2019. We do not charge, but a freewill offering would be appreciated, to help with expenses. Everyone is welcome!
