Gentlemen,
The 2019 Krewe of Lafitte Winter Ball will be held at the Hadji Shrine Temple, Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 8 p.m. until Midnight.
Attire for all members and guests will be formal. Tuxedos for all gentlemen and FLOOR LENGTH EVENING GOWNS for the ladies.
Receiving line starts at 7:15 pm, the Ball begins at 8:00 pm. Open bar will be from 7:00 pm to Midnight. If desired, you may bring food trays for your table.
Guest invitations will available for purchase. All guest, including members, must have a 2019 KOL Winter Ball wristband for admission.
Nine Mile Road is under construction. Please use caution when arriving and departing the facility.
There is a small block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express on Pine Forest Rd. The rooms are $109.00 a night. They are under Krewe of Lafitte.
Wristbands
In order to better serve our members and prevent unauthorized entry, wristbands will be required for admission to all Krewe of Lafitte balls.
Many of you have already picked up you wristbands at the General Membership Meeting. If you have not picked up your wristband, you may do so at the Barn on Wednesday November 6, 2019 from 5:30 pm – 7 pm.
There will be food Wednesday just don't know what yet.
When arriving at the ball, members with 2019 Winter Ball Wristbands can simply show the wristband at the front desk and move along to the receiving line. Members without wristbands must check in with the front desk. A roster of members who have not been issued a wristband will be available. A wristband will be issued to members at the door. Non-members without wristbands will be required to pay for entry by check only.
Please pick up your wristbands in advance in order to keep the front desk area flowing smoothly and we look forward to seeing you at the Winter Ball.
