A systems approach to preventing slips, trips, and falls

This interactive session focuses on a systems approach for preventing same-level slip, trip, and fall injuries. The presentation covers various topics, such as general housekeeping considerations, use of cords and hoses, parking lots and grounds, footwear selection, flooring options, use of mats and runners, wet floors, and employee training. Examples of employers' successful prevention measures are highlighted.  While this presentation is focused on same-level slip, trip, and fall prevention, the system improvements can be applied to other health and safety concerns.
