Join us Saturday December 7th for a tour and vegan holiday brunch fundraiser to share gratitude for a great year and to remind ourselves the true reason for the season: giving, compassion, and love. Our favorite vegan food personality Debi Chew from Chew on Vegan will be preparing a delicious brunch spread after a tour of the farm!

Luna's Story: the FFA Pig Who Lived

If you follow us on social media, you know that Luna's adoption story sparked a lot of controversy within the agricultural community. This is because Luna was rescued from the Future Farmers of America program, or FFA, thanks to the courage of the sixteen-year-old girl who raised her, Catherine.
To us, Catherine is a true hero. We believe this young lady will go into the world and make a positive difference. Saving Luna was just the beginning of Catherine’s journey as an animal advocate. She is clearly a very courageous and determined person being raised in a family teaching her wonderful values. We are proud of Catherine and her whole family!

Welcome Our Gorgeous New Red Hens!
|
|
We adopted 6 lovely red hens who survived a massive fire on a truck taking them to the slaughter house. About 1,000 chickens burned to death on that truck and 200 others were still taken to the slaughter house.
Our very lucky girls (in a group of 15) were released into the waiting arms of activists. We are thrilled to welcome them to Loving Farm. They have made friends with our 8 white Leghorn hens and...no surprise...Awesome Jack Sparrow. Our rooster is flapping his wings with happiness because he has 14 girlfriends! Get a ticket to our December 7th tour and brunch fundraiser to see our whole LFAS family and meet our new girls. I had a dream to give them names starting with the letter G! They are Gloria, Gretchen, Gladys, Gertrude, Georgie, and Ginger!

Each and every day we work hard to provide our animals with shelter, food, medical care, and love, but we know that we are not in this alone. Through your continued support we have welcomed over fifty animals to Loving Farm in the two years since we opened our gates in Paso Robles, California.
