Nuisance Devices:
Nuisance Devices are not allowed at Madison. Devices include toys, cards and other items that create a distraction from learning. Students who bring these items to school will be asked to place them in their backpack and leave them there. Repeated reminders could result in the item being held by staff.
Attendance
Madison opens the doors to students starting at 7:00 am. Madison’s school day starts at 7:30 a.m. Students arriving after 7:30 a.m. need to be checked into the office by a parent or guardian, this helps ensure student safety and accurate school attendance records. Morning routines are very important to help students be ready for learning. When students are arriving late they are missing out on important routines and instruction.
