From a few days, to a few weeks, to a few months, this will be an opportunity to explore the allure and diversity of the skin-macerated wines of Italy through a monster tasting spanning grapes, regions and styles. Champagne Lelarge-Pugeot is an eighth generation winery in the Premier Cru Champagne village of Vrigny, and a true beacon for all things good in a region so dominated by commercial farming techniques and grande marque price points. The family seems staunchly determined to write a new story for their native land, or at least nudge it in the right direction; the estate is one of only a small handful in the area to be 100% certified in their organic and biodynamic practices and their wines, many of them dominated by the lesser seen Pinot Meunier grape, offer tremendous value for the quality one finds in these bottles. We will have the family's prodigal daughter, the lovely Ms. Clemence Lelarge, on hand to speak to her family's stunning line up of Champagnes! 5 wines.
