1. Great Writers Right Here

Saturday, Dec. 7 | 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Marvin Auditorium
Meet dozens of authors and representatives from publishers, literary magazines and writing groups at our book fair. Listen to author readings, create a book craft, add signed books to your collection and pick out fantastic gifts.

Thursday, Dec. 12, Jan. 9, Feb. 13 | 7-8 p.m. | Learning Center
We won't fix it for you, but we'll figure it out together! We've got tools, tinkerers and technical research skills. If you're interested in patching a pair of jeans to give them a new life, repairing your bike instead of taking it to a shop or fixing a lamp instead of buying a new one, we're here to help. We'll meet in the Learning Center on the second Thursday of each month to build a community of people who'd prefer to mend, repair or fix what's broken rather than buy another thing. We don't know how to do everything, but we are willing to collaborate, research and problem solve. If you've got a skill, come and share your knowledge.
