Announcements

End of Day Pick-Up

In order to ensure the safety of our students during after school pick-up, below are some friendly reminders.

All students waiting for outside pick-up will need to wait in the designated area (off grass, bike racks, and pre-school playground)
All students waiting for outside pick-up will need to be picked up in the loop (please do not park in the parking lot and have your child(ren) go to the parking lot)
All pre-school students need to be picked up in the building

Lost and Found

It is that time of year and our lost and found is already growing. Please encourage your child(ren) to check the lost and found for jackets, hats, mittens, water bottles, lunch boxes, and other clothing items they may have lost at school.

1st and 2nd grade Concerts

The 1st and 2nd grade students from Kennedy invite you to their Winter concerts taking place on Thursday, November 21st. The 1st grade will perform from 9-9:30, and then 2nd grade will perform from 1:00-1:30. Thanks and we look forward to you seeing you at the performances!

6th-8th Grade Ipad Safety Management with Securly

We are excited to give you the opportunity to access your students’ out of school Internet activity via the Securly HomeApp that you can download to your mobile device for free. While your students’ school-issued devices have always been content filtered while connected to district Internet or Wifi, beginning this fall, your student’s school-issued i-pad is being content filtered when the school-issued device is not connected to district Internet or Wifi.

You should have received an email from Securly containing the easy login instructions. Please contact the office if you need to add or update your email address in Skyward. Please visit the isd742.org website for frequently asked questions and to learn about the features and benefits of Securly.

Yearbook Orders

Order your yearbook today! Your child received an informational flyer this week about ordering a yearbook. Yearbooks are $16 and can be ordered online at ybpay.lifetouch.com with the ID code “10717420”. Ordering is all online--please do not send money with your child to to school to order a book. Contact Ms. Bach, yearbook advisor, (melissa.bach@isd742.org) if you have additional questions. Orders are due November 27th.

Food Shelf Donations
Our amazing middle school Ambassadors and Student Council members collected 358 items for our St. Joseph Foodshelf! Great job giving back to our community!
