PROGRAM UPDATES
In September we discussed that our grant provider, The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), has gone through a transition redesigns the current structure from one headquarters office in Washington, D.C. to seven regional offices around the country. Phase one of that transition has been completed which includes Colorado and Southern New England. This has resulted in new program officers for both of our AmeriCorps programs. Although we at Campus Compact will greatly miss Roger Palmer who serviced our VISTA grant for 5 years and Joe Follman who has been with us through it all with our K2H Civic Futures grant, we are happy to announce that we will have new program officers.

SUPERVISOR STORY OF THE MONTH
This month's Supervisor Story of the Month comes from Troy Braley at Brady High School. AmeriCorps members have led the charge with outreach to state parks in Jefferson County to allow students to build bird boxes for a state park in the area. AmeriCorps members have worked to build the capacity of the of the students to create a host of AmeriCorps engraved bird boxes! Great work! Please continue to share the amazing work that your members are doing at your site to share with our program officers and our networks.

LET'S HEAR IT FROM YOU

Take our monthly poll to let us know what you think.

I believe each AmeriCorps member needs to have some kind of personal, individual connection
with their supervisor.
