Community Show, Nov 6th
Save the date! The band will perform their show for the community on Wednesday, November 6th, 7pm, in the LHS stadium. Please be sure to invite friends and family, including as many parent booster alumni and student alumni that you know!
Senior Night, Nov 8th
We're asking for 4 volunteers to serve dinner to the band on Friday.

Senior Families,
Here is traditionally what happens on Senior Night. If your student gets a different agenda -follow that!
The band students are recognized during half time. Your student should have received a text asking them to fill out a google form listing who will be joining them on the field to be recognized. All immediate family members are welcome: grandparents, siblings step-family, etc. Help them fill with the form so our announcer can mention them and pronounce names correctly.
TICKETS
Everyone needs a football game ticket to get in. We'll be selling our band gate tickets in front of the band room on Friday night 1 hour before the game. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN
During the 2nd quarter, seniors and family members join their students and line up in the end zone under the score board. Your student will know both where in the line to go and where & when you'll move to on the football field. Just find them and follow their lead. Once on the field during half time, an announcer will call out your family's names. No need to step forward ... although you could cheer or raise your hands to let the audience know where you are. This will go alphabetically and rather quickly as we want to also perform as much of our half time show in whatever time we have left. One of the 3 directors will come by each family group, hand a rose to the student, and say a few words. Your picture will also be taken by one of our parent volunteers, and we'll upload those to Smugmug where you can get a copy. Afterwards, you'll move forward to the track. Students will leave you to get ready to put on the show. I believe you can remain on the track and watch or return to the stands.
Discount Card Sales Opportunities
WANT TO PUT CASH IN YOUR STUDENT’S BAND ACCOUNT?
AND SELL YOUR ALLOTMENT OF JEEP RAFFLE TICKETS?
Here’s how: LBBA has arranged with the businesses on the discount cards to sell the discount cards in front of their establishments. For every card your student sells, one half ($5) goes into their band account towards band expenses. LBBA will provide the discount cards for you to sell. You will not be selling your personal cards that you received during band registration. We need 1-2 students at each location as well as one adult.
These are the times and dates that are still available for students to sign up:

Jeep Raffle Update -Deadline Extended to Nov 11
We are fast approaching the deadline for selling Jeep Raffle tickets. Here are a few IMPORTANT REMINDERS in the 2 1/2 weeks we have remaining to sell tickets:
· The deadline to turn in all payments, ticket stubs and unsold tickets is Monday, November 11.
o IMPORTANT – You MUST turn in all unsold Raffle tickets by November 11. This is a requirement from Ed Voyles that we must follow in case they get audited.
· The drawing for the Jeep will be held at noon on Saturday, November 16 at Ed Voyles Jeep, 789 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060. It will be outside in the parking lot and is open to the public.
· Remember, all unsold tickets must be turned in by November 11 with your final batch of sold tickets.
As of October 21, sales are $13,920 which is only a quarter of the way towards our goal of $50,000. In lieu of selling raffle tickets, you have the option to make a tax-deductible donation to the band to help reach our goal. If making a donation by check, please make payable to LBBA and write “donation” on the memo line. Alternatively, this site has been set up to receive your donations:
