Join our upcoming webinar with colleagues from the Leading Improvement Team at Scottish Government and Fife Council to explore:
What quality improvement is;
How it complements our transformation offer;
How it is already being used by Education and Children’s Services in Fife Council;
How to get people on board with a change.
Quality improvement methods are helping to make a difference and improve services across the public sector. These methods harness the energy and creativity of front line staff in developing, testing and implementing changes that put service users at the centre.
The 3-Step Improvement Framework for Scotland’s Public Services (2013) sets out an approach to change which recognises that all improvement is local, and that leaders in organisations need to create the conditions for application of improvement methodology across a complex system.
Improvement Service Transformation Offer
As you will be aware the Improvement Service has a renewed offer of support on Transformation and the approach is working with a range of partners to ensure councils have access to a range of appropriate deliverables to support their change and transformation journeys that is appropriate for them.
We also would like to hear your thoughts about how we can support you to use quality improvement methods to support your work with partners and service users to understand your system and, by developing ideas that teams can develop test and adapt and build into their work, make progress towards shared aims to create better experiences for service users.
