Our theme for winter camp this year is "Building Christmas". We will be using legos to help illustrate the story of Christmas. Are you tired of stepping on legos in your bare feet? Do you need to clear out some room to make space for the new toys you will be getting this Christmas? You can bring any and all legos you no longer want with you to winter camp and donate them to us! They will be put to good use, and best of all, you will never have to clean them up again! Please email atempleman@wocumc.org ahead of time so we know what to expect!
Camp Otterbein's values are Abundant Adventure, Christian Community, and Faith Formation. We want to hear from you about how you or your kids have experienced these values wile at camp. You can email your stories, memories, drawings, etc. to atempleman@wocumc.org. You can also keep an eye out for our upcoming social media posts and comment there.
Introducing our theme for summer 2020: Fearless Faith! What does it mean to be a part of a Christian community? How can the Church be a resource that gives campers confidence and courage? Campers will explore how they themselves are a part of the Church and what that means about how we relate to one another and the world. Watch how the strength of Christian community eliminates fear and replaces it with hope!
It may be fall but the Otterbein Staff is already getting ready for summer 2020! Our staff can come visit your church on a Sunday morning or during a weeknight kids/youth group. We can show a video, talk about all the awesome and life-changing opportunities at camp, and answer any questions parents may have. If you would like Camp Otterbein to come to your church, contact Andrew at atempleman@wocumc.org.
Save the date for the 2020 Culinary Retreat on January 31- February 2 next year. Get away for the weekend and try out some new cooking skills, and eat some delicious food, too! This event is for adults and youth 16+ with a parent.

Registration opens January 2!
