Travelling in Southeast Asia and Africa

PRAY for Murray Cornelius and Brent Cantelon as they minister in pastors' conferences in India and Bangladesh.

Pray:

that the Holy Spirit will speak through them and will bring encouragement and wisdom.
for the pastors and church leaders who will attend these meetings
for safety as everyone travels to the conferences
for safety as Murray and Brent travel on over a dozen different airplanes
for health and strength to accomplish all that they need to do over the three weeks.

Elmer and Sherry Komant
Burundi

PRAY for Elmer and Sherry who have recently returned to Burundi; here is an update from them.

Dear friends, let us just say that moments of joy and celebration have peppered our 2019 Home Assignment journey. Family occasions and connections, ocean views, rook games, snowfall, and cheesecake fall into that category; while stresses related to the Burundi sea container, living out of a suitcase, deterioration of parent’s health, fund raising concerns, and the shocking loss of cousin Cheryl Muth have kept us so aware of our need of God’s daily grace. Thanks for your committed care and prayer filled support. We’re delighted to tell you that we are HOME SAFE in Burundi and excited about the next chapter of partnership in planting the Muha campus of Christian Life Ministries in Bujumbura. The first service in our temporary home at King’s School (before tent arrival and set up) is Sunday Nov.24th! Thanks for believing with us for every detail and a glorious launch.

Ilya and Janet Bantseev
Siberia

PRAISE God for His presence at the various summer camps held in Novokuznetsk, Siberia. The youth camp was the largest ever with 210 teens. The children's camp had 190, in addition to two separate camps for children with special needs, ranging 30-40 people in each. God was present in everything that was done and so many of the campers connected with Christ. Pray that all of these young people will continue to grow in Christ as they are discipled in our church campuses. God is so good!

Praying for New Global Workers

PRAISE God for young families willing to respond to His call on their lives and leave Canada to serve Him. This past week at Cedarview Church in Newmarket, Ontario, we had the privilege of praying for two new families who have begun the journey to serve God overseas. Daniel and Jennifer Chaloner and their children are being called to Italy and Phil and Shannon Higdon and their children are called to Latin America. Please keep these young families in your prayers.
