Video to the Glory of God!

In September, Nathan took a two-week trip to Cambodia. One of the main goals was to bring over video equipment and train our team to take video interviews for use on our social media platforms. We recorded personal testimonies of coming to faith in Christ as well as short stories encouraging believers in their walk with Christ. We also recorded a Q&A session with three Christian leaders concerning the error of the prosperity gospel. These videos are a new avenue to get Biblical resources into the hands of Cambodian Christians as well as reach those who are without Christ. The team has worked very hard learning these new skills and it is already bearing fruit!

In the month of October, over 1,000 hours of video were watched by over 20,000 people on our PlovPit YouTube and Facebook channels. We had 54,000 post engagements (likes, shares, comments, and clicks) on Facebook and over 16,000 visits to our Cambodian Christian blog, plovpit.com. Praise God! We are excited to see how the Lord will continue to use these resources for His glory. There are over 8 million Cambodians on Facebook and approximately 98% of them are without Christ! This is a huge opportunity for the Gospel!
