Bring a Girl to Work on November 6
According to the latest CREW Network white paper, Accelerating the Advancement of Women in Commercial Real Estate, women in Canada receive approximately 29 percent of bachelor’s and 23 percent of graduate real estate-related degrees.
To help educate more girls about careers in our industry and grow the pipeline of women into our workplaces, we invite you to bring a girl to work with you on November 6. Held on the same day as Take Our Kids to Work Day, Bring a Girl to CRE Day is an opportunity to empower girls and young women in your community by inviting them to participate in your daily work schedule. We encourage you to invite your daughters, granddaughters, relatives, friends’ daughters—any girls between the ages of 8 and 18—to participate. Bring a Girl to CRE Day isn’t just for CREW members—it is open to all industry professionals. Ask your company to participate in Bring a Girl to CRE Day company-wide and extending the opportunity to all employees.
This is an opportunity for you to pay it forward for the next generation of women leaders. We are grateful for your participation and look forward to seeing your efforts come to life across Canada on November 6. Thank you!

CREW Network Foundation is the only foundation dedicating its resources solely towards advancing women in the commercial real estate industry. And, in 2016, CREW Network established the Canadian arm of CREW Network Foundation. All money donated stays in Canada and will be used towards scholarships for young Canadian women pursuing post-secondary studies in a real estate related field.
