 A note from the Rector

Dear Ones,
This weekend we will celebrate All Saints' Sunday with our annual necrology of the saints who have gone before us. We will bless blankets that St. Thomas' will donate to Paul's Place to keep the saints in transitional housing warm at night during their stay. (Thank you to Jane Andrews and the Outreach Commission for ordering the blankets.) We will also honor our in-gathering stewardship campaign by having a basket in front of the baptismal font to receive your pledge cards, and a special prayer of thanksgiving will be said after Communion. (If you have already turned in your pledge card, thank you -- your contribution will be included in that prayer of thanks.)
I continue to give thanks to God for you and our life together.
With love, Amma Leslie+

Acolyte Meeting and Training
There will be an Acolyte Meeting and Training Session on November 3 after the 10:00 a.m. service. All are welcome. We are trying something new: if you can hold a torch without tipping it over, and can sit still during the service, we have a place for you. Ages 5-to whatever. Contact Andrea Stridiron at 585-442-8236 or stritz@frontiernet.net if you would like more information. Being an acolyte does not take up much time.  Prayer for Daily Life

All Saint's Day
Almighty God, you have knit together your elect in one communion and fellowship in the mystical body of your Son Christ our Lord: Give us grace so to follow your blessed saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come to those ineffable joys that you have prepared for those who truly love you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
