Crystal Blues is by far the biggest event we host each year - and each year it just seems to get better and better!
Take a look at the Results Page to see who won what - you'll also see what prizes were won, and who the audience voted for. We'll be posting lots more info, including photos from Lilly and videos of the various categories - but these things take time, so do be patient with us.
Please note - there will be NO BUCKDEN BLUES CLASS this Sunday (3rd November), and NO BLUE MONDAY (4th Nov) as we'll be winging our way to the Canary Islands for LanzaBlues!

Things to look forward to in November
Bristol Blues Dance (Sun 10th Nov) It feels like ages since we were last in Bristol, so we're looking forward to being back! Join us for a lovely afternoon of fabulous freestyle - and bring some nibbles for the sharing table if you can.
Blissfully Blues - Cambridge (Fri 15th Nov) This will be our first Blissfully in our new Cambridge home. Do be sure to get yourself on the Special List and claim reduced price entry.
Collaboration - Nottingham (Sat 16th Nov) It doesn't matter when you like Blues, Alt-Tango, West Coast Swing or Modern Jive, at Collaboration there is something for everyone! We're not here to tell you how to dance - we just play the music that makes you want to!
Purple Moon Freestyle - Harlow (Fri 22nd Nov) The last Purple Moon event rocked! Blues dancers and Tango dancers sharing the floor and their love of good music in a fabulously welcoming and friendly venue. Don't miss this one!
Blues Jeans Blues Nite - Buckden (Sat 23rd Nov) Sometimes the simple things are best. Blues jeans and Blues - made for each other!
And of course we have our Sunday classes in Buckden and Monday classes in Harlow too!
Planning ahead
We have finalised most of our freestyle dates for 2020 now and you can find these on our Event Calendar on the website and also in our Annual Planner in a nice and neat list! I do like a good list!
We have released tickets for our NEW YEAR"S EVE FREESTYLE! Woop woop!
AND... We have a very exciting change of venue happening for Blues at the Inn (which used to be Blues at the Blu...). Tickets will be available very soon for this fabulous All-Night freestyle event right near Heathrow airport.
CLASS NIGHTS
Sunday's in Buckden - from 7.30pm til 10.30pm
Just a heads up - there will be NO CLASS in Buckden on Sunday 3rd November. The floor is being given it's annual MOT.

Blue Monday in Harlow - from 8pm til 10.30pm.
We have two weeks when there will be NO BLUE MONDAY class unfortunately. Mon 28th Oct we are unable to have the hall and Mon 4th Nov we'll be in Lanzarote.
The best way to learn to dance is at a dance class - but dance classes need your support to survive... We'd love to see you.
Weekender Events
For those of you who would like a heads-up on the weekender/holiday events we are running or taking part in the months ahead...
Yorkshire Blues Retreat - This event is very close to capacity now, with only a couple of double rooms left available. If you'd like to join us, do get in touch asap. Single ladies places are on hold I'm afraid.
LanzaBlues Retreat (Apr 2020) - Lanzarote 20th - 24th April 2020. Our first LanzaBlues Retreat sold out in days - so if you think you'd like to join us for this one, get in touch NOW! Because we have only just released this date and places are very limited.
The Pulse Awesome Weekender 2020 - Scarborough 15th - 18th May 2020. We very excited to be invited back again to Scarborough for this really rather Awesome weekender with the Pulse Crew! Interested in joining us? Get in touch...
Bournemouth Blues Retreat 2020 - October 9th - 11th 2020. We were gutted to have to cancel our Retreat this month, so we're really glad we have this to look forward to next year! Taking bookings now.
Lots to look forward to in the next weeks and months.
