Please join us November 5 for the 5th and last installment of our bi-weekly series on the cultures, traditions, and histories of Russian-speaking countries. This week's presentation is on Russia, specifically the region of Siberia, famous for its harsh winters, the world's longest railway line, and a diversity of indigenous groups. Following the presentation, the UGA Russian Club will host its regular Conversation Table.

Our presenter this week is Olga Kuvshinova, a native of Russia and Kazakhstan and a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant in Russian with the UGA Russian Flagship Program. Olga holds a degree of Specialist in Linguistics from Novosibirsk State University. Prior to accepting her appointment as an FLTA, Olga taught English at Novosibirsk State University.
