Hello Friend, thank you for praying. We cannot do what we do, and go where we go, without your prayers!

PRAISE God!  Thank you for praying for the Eurasia Global Worker Retreat which just took place in Turkey. Almost all of our global workers in the region were able to attend. God's presence was very real throughout the week. The morning sessions focused on strategy and the evening sessions were about corporate worship and time to dig into God's Word and enjoy His presence. We also celebrated and honoured some long-term global workers. There was lots of healthy discussions, plenty of laughter, good times of prayer. It was fun to watch the children and youth of our global workers get to know one another and build those important and often lifetime relationships. Global worker retreats are of great value as they provide a sense of connectedness and family, an opportunity for Global Workers to share experiences, an opportunity for hands on encouragement and prayer support.

PRAY for Bonita and Alberto as they return to Cuba on November 4th. We have been praying for Alberto who was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had surgery here in Canada. The doctor has reported that they did not manage to get all of the cancer which was very difficult news to hear. They are set up with a urologist in Cuba so that when they return, they can continue monitoring if needed.  Bonita and Alberto are very grateful for your prayer support.

They are taking back some much needed humanitarian aid supplies so please pray that they will have no difficulty with Cuban customs and that everything will arrive safe and secure and without duties or taxes being charged.
PRAY for Yves and Francoise as they minister in the mountains in northern Thailand. They both excel at engaging with the Thai people and have been involved in so many areas of ministry. From building a well, to carpentry, to food relief, to teaching, to children's' ministries. They have come alongside the Full Gospel Assemblies of Thailand to provide encouragement to their churches and pastors, especially those engaged in church planting.

They established weekly prayer meetings where people gather together to pray for the pastors and local church leaders. A faithful group of prayer warriors gather each week to intercede. Many victories and testimonies of miracles have made these meetings encouraging and effective.

Here is an update on another project they are engaged in:

"The Seed Project was born out of our desire to help poor farmers buy seeds because the banks refused to grant new loans to those who were behind in their payments due to the drought. The Seed Project is similar to a micro-loan project but, exceptionally, it will grant a one-time starter donation to new and promising projects. All profits from the loans are reinvested in the following year’s projects. At one of our Seed Project committee meetings a church planter hesitantly asked if he could be considered as a candidate for these grants. He explained that he, and his family of four, had been living from the proceeds of the garden on his church grounds and was in the same predicament as the local farmers. This is how we were made aware that some church planters were without salary. The Seed Project then took a new turn. As the seed we are aiming to plant is the Word of God, we decided that our primary target would be needy pastors. We know that if we can help them, they in turn, will better proclaim the Good News to their people. So, we bought coffee trees, mulberry trees, corn seeds and hot chili seeds by the bag. One pastor even presented a Guinea pig farm project and it was accepted. Hope and enthusiasm returned and the work of God is flourishing. In the second year of the Seed Project, we bought a truck for a pastor whose territory was too large and mountainous to serve well on a motorbike. Consequently, he was able to hold week night meetings in homes all across his parish and many came to Christ. In the early evening, after a long day in the fields, families are happy to gather to share their burdens, pray, sing, and listen to the Word. This pastor is opening a new church on his territory this November."
