NEWSLETTER October 1st, 2019

Our Sure Growth Team has been super busy trying to complete Soil Sampling for 2019. Our team has had a few obstacles to overcome that would stall us from returning to the field but we eventually made our way back. We have been sampling everyday for the past month, making sure we get every field completed right behind the combine. 
In the mean time, we also have been working on a new Scouting Program & a new Forage Program. We are finalizing every little detail to ensure no miscommunication is missed. We hope to have release dates within a few weeks.

Well, unfortunately Canada lived up to its comic stereotype of weather. A little bit of snow has fallen in the last couple days disturbing the 2019 Harvest. With wet harvest conditions going forward in parts of Canada, I am sure all farmers are eager to get back into the field and maintain and gain as much quality and yield as possible. Luckily, the ground it still above freezing temperatures, therefore helping out when soil sampling. 

Knowing what nutrients you have left in the soil after harvest helps the headache in the spring time. Soil samples can help us at Sure growth and you as the farmer to get a better understanding of what nutrients your soil is lacking in and what is over applied. Having this information can help you as farmers save money, time and effort. 


Nutrients in the soil are essential. The nutrient levels from year to year vary and keeping up on the levels is important especially for a healthy and good quality crop. This is why its so important to preform soil sampling and testing prior to any new crop being planted.
