Dear,

I'd like to invite you to be part of the upcoming edition of our Full Moon gathering, FULL MOON FOCUS #5: IN FRAMES.
Johannes Bellinkx, Benjamin Vandewalle, Rita Hoofwijk, Breg Horemans (TAAT) and myself (all affiliated to SoAP - Space oriented Artistic Practice) invite you to be part of our latest individual projects, presented for the first time together in Brussels.

During this evening of ongoing installations and performances, we'll explore our common approach in framing the viewer’s experience.

I hope to see and meet you Monday 11 November,
Nick Steur
Johannes Bellinkx - Continuum #2

How does it feel to become the moving camera? What’s it like to have a continuous moving perspective? In the proces towards the presentation of his new project Continuum - a collaboration with Tamar Blom and Dennis van Tilburg - Johannes Bellinkx is organizing a series of experiments. This is the first experiment with a moving framed view.

Benjamin Vandewalle - Inter-face & Micro-sphere

Where do I stop and do you begin? Inter-face can cause you to look at the other as if it were you, and at yourself as if you were ‘Other’.
The maxim “as above, so below” attributed to the mythical father of hermeticism, Hermes Trismegistus, indicates the belief that the macrocosm mirrors the structure of the microcosm and any emotional trauma has its physical equivalent. In Micro-sphere we take a closer look at what’s actually going on right under our feet.
Rita Hoofwijk - Facing Faces

In this installation people look at people. Rita Hoofwijk made this installation in 2017. Facing Faces is a proposal that invites you to think about how we see, each other. What happens in our minds when we look at the people around us every day?

Breg Horemans/TAAT - The Archive is present

TAAT is building an archive of their projects HALL01-07. On the attic of KANS, Breg Horemans is inviting visitors in an intimate setting, one by one, to encounter with plan drawings, photographical perspectives and audience reflections of the longterm project HALL33.

Nick Steur - Freeze Frame

If I throw a stone up in the air, it will find ground. What goes up must come down. What about that split second in between? What if we can freeze that frame and take a second look? This edition of Steur’s ongoing and always evolving project FREEZE, is an installation of balancing stone sculptures that captures that elusive space between creation and destruction.
