MBS 50th Anniversary:
Hello members! 2019 is winding down fast. 2021 will be here faster than we know it. In 2021, we'll be celebrating 50 years of MBS events, bonsai learning, and educating. If you are interested in helping MBS plan events for our 50th anniversary year, please contact me at mbsorg.president@gmail.com. A small group of MBS members will start getting together very soon to make suggestions and eventually plan events to help us celebrate this great milestone. I hope to see you get involved.

November General Meeting:
Fall is here and we are settling, or have settled our trees away. Autumn is the best time to plan for repotting season and to determine your pot options for next springs’ work. Our November 5th meeting presentation explores some of the elements to consider when choosing a pot for your tree. We will spend some time talking about how to determine the quality of a pot and how the pot’s characteristics effect the overall appearance of your tree. Some members are bringing trees that will be repotted next year and show how the different pot choices change the overall impression of each tree. Come join us at Gloria Dei for an evening of learning and discussion.
Visitors are always welcome to attend General Meetings. It is a great way to begin learning about and enjoy bonsai.
