3D-Printed Quilt of Biological Molecules is a Transhumanist Dystopia
Artist Shane Hope uses his art to answer the question:
"What would it look like if and after our overclocked-offspring (quicker-thinking posthuman descendants) decide to disassemble everything we know for spare parts?"
He explores this theme through a series of intricately layered sculptural artworks made using his own DIY 3D printers. To discover more follow the tag #syntheticbiology on Facebook to discover more.

Great companies are not built by individuals, they’re built by teams driven by a shared passion, a shared mission, a shared purpose. We are excited to share with our community that James Field, iGEMer from the 2009 and 2011 Imperial iGEM teams, recently raised $10M USD in Series A Funding for his startup LabGenius, which is developing a machine learning robotic platform.
