Do you have photos or documents you’d like to preserve in digital format? Bring your documents, letters, photos, slides or negatives to be scanned with professional equipment provided by Minitex and the Minnesota Digital Library.
All scanned items will be converted to a digital format, please bring your own USB flash drive to save these items. Scanning is free but the number of items may be limited depending on time.
Scanners will be available during regular library hours November 5th - 7th.
Pre-registration for one-hour time slots is appreciated. Please call 218-666-2210 to reserve your time slot.

World War 1: Lessons and Legacies Poster Showcase
During the month of November, the Cook Public Library will display informational posters about World War I. The poster themes include medicine, women in the war, advertising and economy. The library will also have World War I books on display for check out.
This poster showcase was made possible by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES).

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BASKET FUNDRAISER November 12 – December 12
Beginning November 12th, the Friends of the Cook Library will be sponsoring a combination silent auction and dollar raffle ticket fund raiser. A variety of baskets, containers and items will be on display at the Cook Public Library. Winners will be drawn on December 12.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to spend the next month browsing and bidding, while enjoying everything our library has to offer. Winners need not be present to win.
All proceeds benefit the Cook Public Library.
New Ramp, Steps and Railings
This project was funded by a St. Louis County Community Development Block Grant and the City of Cook.
Computer Help Tuesdays 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Cook Public Library welcomes anyone with computer or internet questions to stop by on Tuesdays for individual help. The library has five public computers, five laptops and on-site Wi-Fi to help with your questions.
