Worship This Sunday

With significant containment of the Kincade Fire and no strong winds in the weather forecast, most of Sonoma County’s residents have or are in the process of returning home.  We are grateful to God, the firefighters, law enforcement, and people who served as hosts during this period of widespread evacuations. Though a different fire incident than what we experienced in 2017, we need to process what we have been through – to be present with and for one another, to share stories, and to reassess and honor what matters in our lives.

Besides home, what better place to gather together and worship God than at church.  This Sunday, November 3, we return to our regular schedule of worship at 8:00, 9:00, and 10:30 a.m. followed by time for fellowship in Ingram Hall (after 8:00 and 9:00 worship) or in the entrance to the sanctuary (after 10:30 worship).  As the first Sunday of the month, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Plan to stay after worship so we can exchange our experiences of this event.

We know that if the tent that we live in on earth is torn down, we have a building from God. It’s a house that isn’t handmade, which is eternal and located in heaven. 2 Corinthians 5:1
