Don't miss out! Tango in November in Australia
Dear <<First Name>>

Much happening as usual. November has two tango events with schools or groups collaborating to produce something special.
The Melbourne Tango Circuit starting this weekend to take advantage of the Melbourne Cup holiday, has lots happening - including a milonga with the fabulous Melbourne Tango Orchestra.
In NSW BASH will once again pack out the little country town of Bundanoon in the southern highlands with tango dancers and musicians. Organised this year by the Tango Social Club of Canberra it promises to be another great weekend away.
I hope you are packing your shoes and heading off to take advantage of these chances to dance and dance - and even make new friends.

Yours in tango,
Carol

Dante Sanchez and Indira Hiayes will be hosted by Tango Spirit in Sydney from 11 - 18 November.   In 2007 Dante won the Tango Salon Championship at the El Mundial de Tango in Buenos Aires with his then partner Innes Muzzopappa. He has been a a judge at the World Tango Championship (El Mundial de Tango) and, since 2014, at the Metropolitan Championship in Buenos Aries, he has his own tango school in Buenos Aires. Dante has a strong following in Australia. We understand they will be in Australia until December 15 and may be visiting Perth and Byron Bay - but we have been unable to confirm this.

Rodrigo Palacios will return with his partner Agustina Berenstein  at the end of the year. Tango Bajo in Melbourne  will host them from November 2 to November 12 and they will be with Pablitos in Sydney from 5 to 13 December. They are also expected to visit Canberra but we have no further information.

We comb the internet for information on what is happening in tango in Australia but if we have missed any performers, dates or events - please tell us so we can include them in the next TangoAustralia newsletter.

"The director is Rodolfo Caivano, an Argentinian-Australian Bandoneon player who studied with Argentina’s finest bandoneon players. Rodolfo has many years’ experience playing in traditional tango orchestras and ensembles, and is currently teaching bandoneon to students, as well as organising the Orchestra School of Tango in Canberra.
"Students of all levels are welcome. It will be a fun, relaxed, and hands-on day, where the emphasis is on trying new things and absorbing some of the culture of Argentinian tango music."
