November is National Adoption Month

Meet Anna and her grandmother, Liz.

Nine-year-old Anna has been with her grandma Liz since January of this year after experiencing some unimaginable abuse. Since living with her grandmother, Anna has been thriving and enjoying all that her young life has to offer! When Anna's case quickly turned to a goal of her grandmother adopting her back in July, Foster Angels helped Grandma Liz get her insurance and adoption fees taken care of. We are so happy to announce that since that initial helping hand we were able to give to Liz, she will be officially adopting Anna this month during National Adoption Month!

These are the stories that show the small gestures that are creating lifelong, safe and caring families for children once in foster care are the ones we'll be sharing all November long.

Want to witness an adoption? You can attend Travis County Adoption Day this Thursday, November 7 at Gardner-Betts Juvenile Justice Center. A press conference will be held at 11 a.m.

Save the Date for Giving Tuesday on December 3!

This year on Giving Tuesday Foster Angels has a goal to raise $10,000 towards improving the lives of children in foster care as a part of this global movement. Make a donation now, or set a reminder to give on Tuesday, December 3 to help us reach our goal.
