Trip Reminders
 
Packing:  All luggage, instruments and uniforms will be loaded onto the equipment truck on Wednesday at 4:00PM.  Travelers may bring a carry-on bag on the flight, but the carry-on bag will also be carried for the remainder of Thursday in the park, so pack accordingly.  
Remember to pack appropriate uniform undergarments, including black socks, for the parade performance!  

PARENTS – PLEASE INSPECT YOUR CHILD’S PACKED BAG BEFORE DROPPING IT OFF AT SCHOOL.  Make sure only appropriate items are packed. 

Liquids:  Liquids packed in the carry-on luggage must confirm to TSA regulations.  Travelers can carry an empty refillable water bottle through security and purchase water before boarding.  See Trip Information Packet for additional information.

Medication: Please fill out a Medication Policy Form  in the trip packet and submit to Mr. Morehouse for any prescription and other serious medications (epi-pens, inhalers) your child will be bringing on the trip. These medications should be brought in the carry-on bag, in the original marked container.  Please bring only the amount of medication needed for the trip.

Flight/Security Info:  Students over 18 years of age must have a government issued photo ID (Driver's License or see packet for options).

Money:  Students should bring money for Thursday morning breakfast and Sunday evening dinner at the airport, as well as snacks and souvenirs.  Parents are encouraged to discuss a budget plan for meals and souvenirs with their student prior to departure.

for the Peddler's Village Holiday Parade, Saturday, December 7.  The band leads off this brief but charming parade, which welcomes Santa to Peddler's and kicks off the Holiday shopping season.

Yankee Candle Fundraising
Have you started your holiday shopping?  Gift cards are a wonderful way to support the CB East Marching Patriots because they essentially don’t cost you a thing!  Go online to order gift cards to stores you normally shop in (or would like to try!), and then use those cards like cash when you shop.  In return, the Student and Band Accounts are credited with a percentage from every card sold, at no cost to you or the band.  The cards also make wonderful gifts - many of them can be purchased in denominations as low as $5 - $10.  Information on the program in on the band website.  The next gift card deadline is November 12th.  Cards will be available for pick up by November 15th.
Wawa Coupons make great gifts, while earning $ for your student account!  A book of 10 coupons is $40.  Checks should be made out to CB East Band Parents Assoc. and your child can pick up a pack from Audrey Cronin in color guard.  100% of fundraising proceeds go to your student account!  Email Wendy Cronin with questions.
Banquet Planners Needed
If haven't fulfilled your volunteer commitment for the year, perhaps you can help with our banquet! The date has not been set yet, but usually takes place in January.  Please contact Randy Deihl to find out what is needed.
