Dear Accounting Society Members,
Hello everyone! Thank you to everyone who attended our Accounting Game Plan and CohnReznick event last week. We hope we clarified questions about planning your academic career and everyone learned about personal branding. We look forward to seeing everyone at future events!
This Tuesday, November 5th, we will have our last GIM and Social. Join us to learn more about the Accounting Society! On Thursday, November 7th, we will have our Interview Workshop. Learn the do's and don'ts of an interview and practice through mock interviews with the board. No RSVP required.

To become an inducted member, you have to satisfy the following requirements (You have two consecutive semesters to fulfill these requirements):

1) General Interest Meeting #3 / Social #2 - 11/5

Missed the previous General Interest Meetings? Join us for our last General Interest Meeting and Social #2! Come to learn more about our events, our goals, and meet the board. There will be food and fun icebreaking games to make new friends! No RSVP required.
2) Interview Workshop - 11/7

Join us for our next event in the Personal Development Series, the Interview Workshop! Learn how to ace an interview and put your skills to practice by participating in mock interviews with our board members! No RSVP required.
3) "Technology and the Future with Marcum" with ZUTS - 11/12

Wonder how today's advanced technology will affect your career? Professionals from Marcum will discuss how technology and data impact the accounting profession and ultimately answer the question: will technology replace humans? 4) "Find Your Fit with Wiss" with ZUTS - 11/14

5) Networking Luncheon Volunteer Meeting - 11/19

Sign up as a volunteer for our signature event of the semester! Students volunteering will have a reserved spot for the Networking Luncheon and will get both corporate and volunteer event credit. Note: This is a mandatory meeting for volunteers on Tuesday, November 19th during club hours. The deadline to sign up as a volunteer is Saturday, November 16th,11:59 PM. Space is very limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. RSVP here.
6) Semi-Annual Networking Luncheon - 11/26

Location: NVC 1-107 (Multipurpose Room)

The Semi-Annual Networking Luncheon is one of our biggest events of the semester. Students can network with professionals from the Big Four and several midsize accounting firms in a casual lunch setting. This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the firms and possibly establish long-lasting professional relationships. The RSVP deadline is Saturday, November 16th, 11:59 PM. Space is very limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. RSVP here!
