BIG FORUM
Wednesday, November 13
6:30 - 8:00 PM // Rooms 306/308

Join the Elders as they share and discuss important topics including some ministry updates, the Mission/Vision update, a proposed change to our Doctrinal Statement, and a re-finance proposal.  More details here.

Doctrinal Statement
The only change to the Doctrinal statement would be changing the word  premillenial to glorious.

“We believe in the personal, bodily and premillenial glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The coming of Christ, at a time known only to God, demands constant expectancy and, as our blessed hope, motivates the believer to godly living, sacrificial service and energetic mission.”

For the benefits and reasoning behind the change in our association’s Doctrinal Statement (and thus our proposal to adopt it), please see:

Hebrews 13:20–21 (ESV)
20 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
21 equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Children & Youth Events

HARVEST PARTY - THANK YOU!
This year was the largest turnout ever for the Harvest Party! We welcomed nearly 300 children and over 190 families! What a tremendous outreach opportunity for our community. Please continue to pray for the children and families who attended.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who contributed to the Harvest Party this year! Whether you donated candy or treats, helped with set up or clean up, greeted guests, ran a game, prayed for the event, or said good-bye to guests and invited them to return -- you made a huge impact! THANK YOU!

We especially would like to thank Johanna Humphrey for her leadership and organizational skills! She worked tirelessly to make the Harvest Party successful. Please read this beautiful testimony from Johanna: "...we never ran out of candy!
As we saw the candy coming in this year we were amazed that we received twice as much as we did last year. God knew who was coming last night and He put it on peoples hearts to buy the candy. What an amazing blessing to see God working."

Well done!!

After changing jobs in 2013, Michael started reaching out to men who were in transition from one job to another and encouraging them. This has been a great way to encourage others and deepen friendships. Most people experience self-doubt and a lot of worry during a job transition and targeted encouragement truly means a lot to them.

Invite a friend! Teenage sons are always welcome. The breakfast is FREE, but
