On Saturday, September 14th, DreamLife Lottery hosted URBANYEG's InstaMeet 24 at the very luxurious DreamLife Lottery Grand Prize Dream Home. The URBANYEG community captured fantastic shots at this unique location.

MEET HEATHER CURTIS

Heather joined URBANYEG this March with a wealth of communications and marketing experience. By day, she works in Internal Communications for the Government of Alberta, but supporting her community is near and dear to her heart. She has volunteered with numerous non-profits in Edmonton and we are so happy to have her with us now.

Congratulations to our Community Collab photo editing challenge winners! We had nearly 30 submissions and they were so creative and unique!

The winner, as chosen by the original photographer @sameer.design, is @beljohnwapaul_ with a futuristic take on Edmonton. John won a $100 McBain Camera gift card and 2 tickets to the Edmonton Photo Tradeshow!

The runner-up, as chosen by our URBANYEG team, is @manvirsphotography with a nighttime edit of our skyline. Manvir won a $25 Oodle Noodle gift card and 2 tickets to the Edmonton Photo Tradeshow!

COME. SIT. MEDITATE.

Learn how to establish your own meditation practice with the URBANYEG Meditation Series with Shady Ape founders, Shay and April, on November 6th and November 20th at the Kinsmen Clubhouse. We will sit together, provide mindful meditation instruction, and discuss life. Suitable for beginners and zen masters alike. Proceeds of the event will go towards Momentum Walk-In Counselling Society.
