October in Maine:
There really is no more beautiful place to be during the month of October: sideways light, bright and changing colors. And this was a particularly spectacular month. And inspirational. I was able to get into the studio nearly every day in October.

My pastel "Sometimes I See" was juried into the Pastel Society of New Hampshire's annual national juried exhibition, and it won the Ampersand Award. It's really quite an honor to be accepted into the national exhibit with really amazing artists. And I'm thrilled to be recoginized with the award! See the virtual gallery on the PSNH website HERE
