BRS Spotlight
Cynthia Weekley - Regional Director, ERSO

[TO BE REVISED]
Years at Berkeley - 18
Additional Role -  Assistant Dean, HR - College of Engineering
First Role at Berkeley - HR Analyst, Employment Services, Central Campus HR

Prior to joining UC Berkeley, Cynthia worked for several years in the private sector holding various HR leadership roles.  Cynthia helped launch ERSO in 2005 and has been instrumental in the development of the ERSO region.  ERSO has been the model for the other five regions as the regions have evolved over the past two years.  Cynthia has worked on numerous campus committees and advocates for efficient administrative organizations, high level service delivery, streamlined processes and systems. Cynthia is optimistic that the regional model will be successful in delivering excellent administrative services to the campus community through the right blend of standardization and customization.  She has been honored with two Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Awards.

"In ERSO we are aggressively pursuing system enhancements to streamline UCPATH transactions so that our team can shift their primary focus from data entry and problem escalation to proactive HR case management. This will allow the ERSO community to rely on timely, accurate and stable HR services."
