Opportunities
Run for Hillel Board!
3 of our board members will be abroad next semester and we need YOU to fill their spots! Fill out this nomination form in order to run for the office of Treasurer, Communications Chair, or Outreach Officer!
Treasurer: The treasurer serves as a liaison between Hillel and the Student Finance Committee. They are in charge of planning the budget for the upcoming semester, overseeing any purchases made in the current semester, and communicating with SFC about events going on within the organization. It's a good position for anyone who is organized and a good communicator, as well as anyone who takes initiative and likes administrative work.
Communications Chair: The Communications Chair will coordinate social media postings, create posters for events, and ensure the word gets out about the various activities and events going on at Hillel. This is a great position for someone who has an interest in marketing.
Outreach Officer: The Hillel Outreach Officer is the person that makes sure students feel welcome at all Hillel events, whether it be at Shabbat dinners, religious services, or other Jewish-themed programming etc. The Outreach Officer is also someone that will frequently communicate with and introduce themselves to people that may be new to Hillel, and to be a person that they could go to to ask any questions.
