Hi Friends,
I am excited to welcome you tomorrow, and I appreciate the time you’re taking to spend with us thinking about the problems and opportunities in the use of language and communication when working with, or designing for autonomous systems (a collective name for AI, ML, deep learning and the likes).
This will not be a discussion about the future of humanity or if AI will ever develop consciousness. While I love discussing philosophy of the mind–and don’t believe the human brain can be computed–I want to be consciousness of everyone’s time and set an agenda for tomorrow.
