The Hudson Grocery Cooperative Annual Meeting is set for Tuesday, November 19th at the Hudson House Grand Hotel. The social begins at 6:00 p.m. with the meeting at 6:45 p.m.
HGC is close to 600 owners, which is the threshold for our next important step of creating a business plan. Owner participation now is VITAL for the future success of HGC. Your co-op needs all owners to show up, and that means YOU! Bylaws require that we have a quorum of 34 owners present in order to conduct business that requires a vote. This is an important meeting. We have business to conduct!
•Election of the next Board
•Approve change to our Bylaws (a summary of proposed changes was mailed to all owners)
•Discussion of the future of the co-op
The meeting is open to non-owners as well. You can join our movement to bring a grocery co-op to Hudson at the meeting and will be able to vote.
