Greetings to all our Members and Devotees !
October is a special month for us with the celebration of Kandar Sakthi Peruvizha (கந்தர் சக்தி பெருவிழா) 2019, an auspicious and religious day for Tamizh community and Lord Murugan devotees. The Carolina Murugan Temple (CMT) conducted its very first religious event. Many volunteers and donors participated in the event and it was a great success.
CMT started the six-day event by conducting a special prayer and formal inauguration of the CMT logo and banner. The Chairman and other executives of our Temple made a speech at the dedication ceremony of the CMT logo and banner attended by many members, devotees and volunteers.
The final day was celebrated with Paal Kudam (பால்குடம் எடுத்தல்), Kaavadi (காவடி எடுத்தல்), Thirumuzhuku (திருமுழுக்கு), Thirumanam (திருமணம்), Tirupugazh Archanai (திருபுகழ் வழிபாடு) and Mangala Aarathi (மங்கள ஆரத்தி) in the morning followed by Prasadham (திருவமுது).
Thirumathi. Sumathi Sri a well known religious speaker who spoke at the final event on the topic of Kandan Karunai (கந்தன் கருணை). She praised the CMT’s vision and efforts to connect the religious, language, cultural aspects of Tamizh community and many noble services towards humanity.
The whole event was planned, orchestrated and executed under the leadership of Thiru. Bharath Ramamurthy, who is one of the founders and also the Religious Committee's Chair.
The Temple administration is aggressively planning to complete Phase I Temple construction with deities by 2021, let us join hands to make this a reality.
