Happy Monday, <<First Name>>!

We can't believe we're halfway through November already. As we're approaching the start of the holiday season we're reflecting on how this can be a time of joy and gratitude, and also anxiety, tension, and stress.

That's why we've decided to hold space to discuss the holidays and how we can mind our mental health and practice self care. Instead of our usually scheduled Study Group, on November 21st we’ll be holding a community event to discuss how to navigate social gatherings while prioritizing self-care and mental health.

You don’t have to deal with the holidays alone. We feel like NAPAWF*NYC is our chosen family and hope you can, too. NAPAWF*NYC can be a place where you can show up as your most authentic self.

At this event, we will be reflecting on our individual family trees (with a different twist!), examining potential triggers, acknowledging our shared pains, and sharing our stories with one another.
Join us on Nov 21 for The Family Event You Actually Want to Attend

Thursday, November 21 at 6:30 PM
at NAPAWF*NYC's offices (39 Eldridge Street)
Wheelchair accessible | Dinner will be provided.

If you have any questions, please email nycchapter@napawf.org.

See you Thursday night,

P.S. Please note, we will resume The Study Group regular programming in December. The last Study Group of the year will be on intergenerational trauma and how to use our personal narratives to inform our political activism. We recommend attending the November event as a natural lead up to the December Study Group.
