We are sorry to say our Development Director, Amy Patick, will be stepping down from our board the end of the year. Over the past 4 years Amy has been instrumental in obtaining funding for many of our projects: Façade update, spearheading the Secret Art Sale, applying for and receiving grants from various charitable organizations, organizing the rebuilding and staining of our fence, organizing and obtaining funding for our backyard pavers, replacing door knobs and locks, and countless other projects. She has also been an active contributor to Alameda on Camera and several other of our shows, not to mention her photography has been featured as the artwork for a few of our art shows. She will continue to teach the iPhone photography class.
 
We are in search of a new development director.
 
Development Director Job Description:
The development director develops and implements a strategic plan to raise vital funds for the organization in a cost-effective and time efficient manner.

General duties:
  • Provides oversight to fundraising efforts in collaboration with President and volunteers.
  • Develops business, strategic and marketing plans in collaboration with the board for the future of the organization
  • Performs outreach and plays public affairs role in the organization in close collaboration with the President and volunteers.
