Flood: The Overdose Epidemic in Canada at the historic Regent Theatre in Toronto.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Adam D’Addario, Flood Producer, Susan Shepherd, Toronto Public Health and FAR Co-Founders Angie Hamilton and Louise Lemieux White .

There is a reason that, for the first time in four decades, the life expectancy of Canadians stopped increasing and declined in BC. The main factor is accidental drug overdoses among young men. Between January 2016 and March 2019, there have been more than 12,800 apparent opioid-related deaths in Canada.
That means that every two hours another Canadian life is lost and another Canadian family is destroyed.

Flood: The Overdose Epidemic in Canada is a documentary that aims to reduce the stigma around substance use disorder (SUD) and inspire others to take action.
We can act now to save lives. We just need the will.
