Gin It To Win It 2024!!!

Gin It To Win It is back!! Sign up here for the 2024 Gin It To Win It points challenge for Scottish eventers over 40 that celebrates endurance, perseverance, grit and sheer willingness to creak on regardless (even if gin is sometimes required to oil the wheels and summon up sufficient nerve πŸΈπŸ˜‰)

There are three separate age categories  - 40+, 50+ and 60+. We also have a special prize for the Best Male competitor (rider, not horse), the Best ROR competitor (horse🐴, not rider, though the rider must be over 40!) and the Best Rider Overall across all age groups.

AND - back again this year - we have TEAMS!!! The teams are open to all Gin It competitors who want to take part, including non-riding members, and we hope lots of you do because they are about having more fun and making even more friends. Teams will be made up of around 12 or so people, with the best scores counting from each competition). You don't have to put a team together or wait to be picked (horror flashbacks to gym lessons anyone?? 😱). We will be putting together the teams, with a mix of age groups and competing levels in each team. All you have to do is tick the box to say you'd like to join in. And don't be worrying about whether you are good enough to be in a team or any nonsense like that. It's just for fun!

The prizes will be awarded at the end of the event season to the rider and horse combinations who accumulate most points, at any level, across the season. Remember - entry is NOT automatic so, even if you entered last year, if you want to be Gin It To Win It in 2024 please make sure you fill in this entry form and take care to fill in your date of birth correctly and the age you will be by 31/12/2024 so we put you in the right category. And make sure you tick the boxes for the special prizes if you are eligible!

We will track your points from the date you enter, so make sure you get your entry in before your first Scottish event this season. We won't be backdating points because a) it messes with the leaderboards and b) it's a nuisance because c) our scorer is idle πŸ˜‚.
