We had some very interesting interventions from DG ENV and DG RTD, regarding the priorities for a new Commission, and plans for an all-new Water Partnership. Why is it important to have a new Working Group dedicated to the theme of 'Water & Climate'?
The occurrence and use of water are largely dependent on the climatic conditions and equally affected by them. Climate change is real and already happening. As shown by the European drought in 2018, many different water-related sectors are affected, for example, food production, transportation, health and ecology. READ MORE
RIMA's Calls: 8.1 million for SMEs

RIMA’s Open call for small & medium-sized and slightly bigger companies has still one month to go before selecting its winning applicants. Launched within the framework of the H2020, RIMA (Robotics for Inspection and Maintenance) is an acceleration project that aims at connecting research and industry organisations to deploy robotics technologies in I&M (Inspection & Μaintenance) applications to fit market needs. Water Europe is a partner of RIMA project, representing the water sector.

Join Water Europe side-meetings at the EUWIC2019 
 
As a supporting partner of the EIP Water Conference 2019, Water Europe is getting ready for the much-anticipated event of the water sector. Back to back to the conference, Water Europe will host two side events on the 11th of December. Following up on the successful workshop held in the context of ENoLL Open Living Labs Day in September, Water Europe is now organising the workshop 'Living Labs for a Water Smart Society'. READ MORE. 
What should you expect from
G-STIC Conference 2019?
 
The third edition of G-STIC is coming up on 20-22 November in Brussels with a compelling agenda of different thematic programmes, aiming at bringing forward market-ready integrated technological solutions that can have a big impact on the achievement of the SDGs. Chief among them remains the water topic and Water Europe is glad to actively contribute to the conference's discussions with three WE ambassadors present. READ MORE.
