Two full weeks into the campaign, we've been hearing great results from around the country. Keep it up!

This week we have one very important housekeeping item for you, followed by new Spanish language NewsMatch appeals and a reminder about timing and content of Email #2.


Lastly, Giving Tuesday is just two weeks away! For those who missed yesterday's webinar, slides and tips will be up on Campaign HQ soon.

*IMPORTANT* IF YOU HAVE A PO BOX... 

If the address listed on your GiveGab profile is a PO Box, you must change it to a physical address in order to receive funds.

Fill out this form for GiveGab no later than Monday, Nov. 18  to ensure you are in compliance.

You'll need to do this for any other platforms you use, such as DonorBox. You'll need to update your address on Stripe or PayPal if you receive donations through them, or through webforms on your site like GiveWP or Gravity Forms. For more details, see Mara Jezior of INN's Nov. 8 email.

Email #2 - Send Nov. 15

Note: Nov. 15 is a suggested send date, but this appeal can be sent at any time during the campaign. 

This second appeal was added to the campaign toolkit to help you get through the weeks between the NewsMatch kickoff and Giving Tuesday. This appeal prompts readers to think about expanding news deserts and what limited access to information does to our democracy.

Customize your appeal
If you use the MailChimp template, be sure to swap out the News Revenue Hub's logo with your own and link back to your donation page. Use merge tags to fill in the "First Name" fields and tailor the text to fit your own mission and campaign goals. Here's the HTML template and copy if you want to build your own campaign. 

TIP: Suppress people who have already given during the campaign. 

Set up your ads and social media posts 
Schedule any Tweets or Facebook posts that coincide with this appeal. Use this animated banner ad to complement your ask.
