As the year end approaches there is much ministry activities here in Japan. Appreciate your prayers as we share the gospel in innovative ways.
Jazz Concert

This Saturday (Nov 16), one of our directors of MetaVenture is producing a Jazz Night in downtown Tokyo. This concert features top ranked Japanese jazz artists. Notice (bottom photo) that I a featured guest musician. 

We are expecting a packed crowd of over 100 paying customers. All of the jazz musicians and most of the customers are not Christians. As MetaVenture (our for-profit business as mission) hopes to do is to reach out to new communities and make relationships in different sectors of the Japanese society. Pray that we can be a true witness to this community of jazz musicians and jazz enthusiasts. 
Preaching & Concert
 
Next Sunday (Nov 24) I will be preaching and conducting a concert in Hino Church. My message will about "faith" based on Hebrews 11 and challenge us to be risk-takers for the gospel of Jesus Christ. The featured choir is Aoyama Gakuin University Gospel Choir where I am the main director. 

Many who will be attending this church service and the concert are not-yet Christians. Pray that the message and music will reveal who Jesus Christ is and their need for Him as their Lord and Savior. 

HGF Christmas Concerts

Hallelujah Gospel Family (HGF) choirs are gearing up for Christmas concerts. With 70 choirs in our HGF network there will be about 70 concerts held all over Japan. We equip each choir to reach out and perform in their local community events (shopping malls, coffee shops, nursing homes, schools, churches, and more). 

We are not able to be in every concert, but Ray Sidney and I travel to as many concerts we can to share the real meaning of Christmas alongside 1,000 Japanese choir members who are mostly not-yet Christians themselves. Pray that many will hear and receive the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
