Congratulations to all of our bingoers! I hope you all had fun. Check out the final bingo post to see who won the prize raffle, and please do visit our survey and give us your input for next year. That’s right, there will be a bingo for CBR12, I can guarantee that. So let us know how this year went for you, then we can make next year even better.
I want to thank all of you as well, everyone reading this newsletter. It’s thanks to you and your support that we are able to keep CBR running. It’s fundraising time for us, and as much as I wish we could operate for free everywhere, we all know that’s not the way the world works. So I’m passing the hat and asking for donations. We do have a lovely prize pack that every donor will get a chance at, now valued at approximately $300.00. Good luck!

Q&A with a Cannonballer: MarkAbaddon
 Your bio says you sought out CBR to use writing as a release from the stress of the political atmosphere, which is a great reason! Have you found it helpful? As the ant said when pissing into the ocean, "Every bit helps." Honestly, the political environment is so toxic and upsetting right now, I believe we all need multiple mechanisms to cope. Writing does help. So does alcohol.
CBR Bingo
Bingo was great fun this year, with 49 players, 34 bingos, and 16 blackouts. Those 49 people wrote 729 reviews in four months! Thanks to everyone for reading, posting, commenting, reviewing, and playing. Congratulations to CarrieJay, who won the raffle prize!

Holiday Book Exchange
You know what's better than discovering new books? Having a fellow Cannonballer pick some new ones especially for you! If you're interested, sign up for our annual holiday book exchange. The ever-intrepid faintingviolet will compile the list and randomly assign pen pals to all participants. Choose a book or two, and an additional piece of flair if you'd like (budget no more than $25), and mail it off to your book buddy. A different participant will mail you something in return, and the circle of books expands and delights!
#GivingTuesday and CBR's 33 Days of Giving
Y'all are awesome all year round, and once again this year for #GivingTuesday, we're asking for a little more and giving back a little. If you donate any day in November or the first three days in December (because that's when #GivingTuesday ended up since Thanksgiving is at the very end of the month), you'll be entered into a raffle for a fun prize drawing. Best & Worst
It's time to go back through your reviews from the year and start thinking about your five stars and one stars. MsWas will be asking for your Best and Worst of 2019 next month. If you can winnow it down to the three best and one worst book you read this year, all those will be compiled into the year-end recap post that will go up on Pajiba. For a blast from the past, check out the Top Ten Cannonball Read Reviews of 2009, the first CBR listicle, or even just browse last year's picks and see what you might have missed.

Believe it or not, we are heading in to our dozenth year of Cannonballery. Next year will see some old favorites (Bingo is obviously a keeper) and some new stuff (website updates ahoy!), so we hope to see you all back here to join us. Tell your friends!
