School Tours
This fall was busy with school tours. The students are exposed to flight theory, time on the flight simulator, an aircraft tour, a model airplane construction and flying contest as well as sessions on aviation communication, aviation careers and a tour of the restoration hangar. Students and teachers are impressed with the program. Here is one thank you received.
Dear Jim,
Thank you for the wonderful tour this morning!! The children learned so much and it was such an amazing complement to our unit. I wish we would have had the opportunity to visit in previous years. I felt like I walked out to today with a whole new level of understanding to support my students.
We appreciate the time your volunteers have put in to make the museum such a wonderful experience for our community.

Citizenship Ceremony
The Citizenship Ceremony hosted at the Saskatchewan Aviation Museum on November 6 was a huge success. Thirty ecstatic people received their Canadian Citizenship. An RCMP officer, a bag piper, dignitaries, citizenship judge, and Georges Vanier Catholic School choir all added to this formal ceremony.
A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers who contributed to this accomplishment. As the expression goes, “Many hands make light work” is accurate when it comes to our volunteers. They moved planes, created and printed programs, greeted guests, set up chairs and tables, hauled risers, helped with custodial duties, photographed the event, provided hospitality, and were goodwill ambassadors.
On behalf of the Saskatchewan Aviation Museum Board of Directors, thank you for your time, talent and commitment in making the Citizenship Ceremony such a wonderful experience for all who attended.

Corporate Memberships – New for 2020!
Spread the word! Corporate Memberships are now available to our business community. Expanding our membership base will provide additional awareness and funds for the ongoing operations of the museum.
A Corporate membership for $250 will include 10 complementary museum passes to be used by their employees, customers, or family.
Also, if a corporate membership is purchased before November 30, 2019, the company’s name will be entered into a draw for one of two rides in our vintage Tiger Moth bi-plane in the spring or summer of 2020.
