Over the next few months I'll be collaborating with the hottest Tastemakers and Creatives across Lagos and London for our Guest Curator series. They've kindly shared with me the key dates in their personal culture diaries... and I'll be sharing it all with you.
First up, we have the fabulous Jumoke Adekunle. She's a jet-set Brand Consultant who left England for Nigeria 8 years ago. She works with global brands alongside dope emerging ones, these include Facebook, Homecoming and 1Xtra and she's led campaigns for Nike and Tommy Hilfiger. Get yourselves down to the opening of 'Reframed Cocoa & Color' in Lagos! A Photography Exhibition featuring the images of Joshua Kissi and his colourful photo exploration and stories on the people of the Cocoa Trade. Lil' background on Joshua - he co-founded Street Etiquette, a men's lifestyle website turned creative agency. He co-founded TONL, a stock images website featuring those of us with more melanin. And an interesting tid-bit, his wedding went viral earlier this year.

Meet The Adebanjos
|

|
9 years after being turned down by the UK's BBC, ITV and SKY, Andrew Osayemi's TV 'Meet the Adebanjos', a sitcom (about a British-Nigerian family) has finally got a YES from NETFLIX! (Britain is haemorrhaging black talent to the states, but that's a rant I'll save for instagram stories). The sitcom stars Yetunde Oduwole as the Mum and Nollywood Ledge - Wale Ojo as the Dad. This is a win for all the struggling creators out there - keep putting out quality work and don’t give up (cliché but relevant).

Chuku's Found A Home

Closing with even more good news! Chuku's has found a permanent home, the restaurant will be base at 274 High Road, Tottenham. If you’ve ever been to any one of their #ChopChatChill pop-ups, you already KNOW they throwdown in the kitchen! Can't wait – it’s about time we cashed-in on the bougie, regeneration plans for Tottenham!
