Congratulations Averyboo Arts:
Our 2019 Day of the Dead Altar Competition Winner!
Thank You to all the businesses that participated in our Day of the Dead altar contest during our last First Friday Celebration.

Everyone brought their A-game and it was tough for us to decide, so we turned it over to our Bixby community.

The voting was tight but the clear fan favorite was Averyboo Arts with their Bob Ross themed altar! Congratulations to them and their $300 prize!
Laserfiche American Cross Blood Drive
Friday, November 15th - 9AM - 3PM

Laserfiche would like to invite the BKBIA community to participate in an American Red Cross blood drive at their office tomorrow, Friday November 15th.

If interested, please sign up for any available appointment. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment time and allot about one hour total for the donation and recovery time.

Laserfiche and the BKBIA have our next edition of Bixby Saturday Nights ready for you.

Our jazz series continues: Saturday, November 16 we are featuring the Brandon Baker Quintet
 
Brandon Baker- Classically trained flutist turned jazz musician. Graduated from LBCC with Associate of Arts degree in music and studied under Pat Sheng. Attending CSULB currently as a junior studying saxophone performance with Sal Lozano. He’s geared to graduate in Spring 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree with plans to pursue a career as a professional teacher/freelancer/studio musician post-graduation.

The Lineup:

Daniel Mandrychenko- Guitar
Sam Ross - Keyboard
Jermaine Paul - Bass
Brian Gazo – Drums

Performing their own arrangement of jazz standards and originals

Brewery Knolls Beer Trolley
Saturday, November 30th

Bixby Knolls Small Business Saturday is November 30th! That means it’s time to get out and support the shops, services and eateries that make up YOUR local business district! We are also combining it with our monthly Beer Trolley for a special SBS edition ride for double the fun!
