 Principal's Message
The weather outside is frightful, but inside LAA it’s delightful! So… a lead-in to snow days at LAA. Watch your text messages for updates and watch SnowFox and WAVE 3 for closings. WE NEVER START LATE!
Come join us for S.A.’s annual bonfire tomorrow night at 5:30. We will be closing out Sabbath with song and praise. Please remember to bring a side dish so everyone has lots to eat!
The Thanksgiving luncheon is just around the corner, November 26, at 11:30 in the fellowship hall. Thanks for getting in your $5 per person. Remember that day IS a school day.
Also, remember about our Christmas program! We are so excited to see the whole school at Louisville First on December 13 at 7 pm. Mrs. Oms and Mr. Ruckle have something very special planned, so invite your friends and family members to come see your Christmas Star.
Finally, remember to water your Christmas tree, because as I always say, only you can prevent forest fires!

 S. A. Bonfire
We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow evening for the 6th annual LAA Student Association bonfire! (5:30 pm on the LAA athletic field) This event brings together our school family with our community to worship, fellowship, and eat good food. Big Franks, s'mores and hot drinks will be provided. Everyone should bring both a dish to share (so we have plenty of food for our growing attendance) AND a lawn chair. There will be a sundown worship thought by Hans, our S.A. Pastor. Everyone is welcome! |

Thanksgiving Luncheon 
Our Thanksgiving Luncheon is coming fast! We look forward to sharing a meal together as a school family on Tuesday, November 26, at 11:30 am. Remember, school will be dismissed for break once cleanup is over by 1:30, and there will be no aftercare that day. Thank you everyone for getting your $5 per person turned in! |

S. A. Stronger T-shirts
S.A. T-shirts are here! Each year, Student Association designs unique t-shirts promoting the year’s theme. This year, the theme is “Stronger” and the t-shirts are available now! If you have already ordered one or would like to purchase one ($12), stop by Mrs. Ruckle’s classroom or purchase yours at the bonfire Saturday evening. The S.A. shirts may be worn every Tuesday instead of the LAA uniform shirt but must be worn with uniform pants. Supplies are limited! |

Plan now to be sure your student(s) will be present for LAA’s annual Christmas Program on Friday evening, December 13, at 7 pm at Louisville First Seventh-day Adventist Church. Every student in grades PreK-10 will be performing in their respective choirs (a required part of their music grade!), and our high school drama team will be presenting some special skits as well. This is definitely a highlight of the season and a wonderful evening together with our families and the community.
For those of you that like to plan ahead, students in grades PreK-10 will be required to wear dress clothes for the concert: ladies in dresses and gentlemen in pants, button-down shirts and ties. We hope everyone will look festive for the occasion! |

Movie Night
The Louisville First Pathfinders, the Lightbearers, are inviting everyone to a movie night on Saturday evening, November 23, at 6:30. The movie being shown is called The Last Battle. Admission is $5 including popcorn, juice and chips. There will be other food on sale as well. |

Box Tops for Education
Ask your kids to help you watch for box tops when you shop. If you see a traditional coupon, please clip it and bring it in. Also, boxtops are going digital! For many boxtops, you can now download a Boxtops app, use it to scan your receipt, and your items will automatically be credited to your school! Definitely check this out! |
